Boogiebucker

Boogiebuckers are Carondelet’s first Alnico 4 pickup offering, and our first blueprint designed specifically for power R&B, soul and Southern rock. The blueprint's catalyst was Jeff's longtime friend Jonathon "Boogie" Long. The Louisiana Southern bluesyrock artist was the 2011 Guitar Center “King of the Blues” winner for best unsigned blues guitarist in America, and since then two of Boogie's albums have landed on the Billboard Top 10 Blues charts. As its name suggests, Alnico 4 sits between between the smooth classic voicing of an Alnico 2 (Gibson PAFs and P-90s) and the tight, crisp attack of the Alnico 5 found in many popular modern rock pickups. A4 is also characterized by a flat EQ and a tasteful, spongy midrange that stands out prominently and beautifully in a live or recorded mix.

DELIVERY TIMES: Most Carondelet pickups are wound and assembled by hand, one at a time. Due to speed limitations in the hand-crafted process and overall demand, lead times for Carondelet pickups typically range from two to four weeks.
