Carondelet’s Ambassador Series pickups capture the tone, feel, quality and durability of our hand-wound pickups at a more affordable price point. Ambassadors use the same materials and almost identical fabrication processes, with the exception being coils that are machine wound instead of hand wound. Winding via CNC technology results in pickups that not only cost less, but that also boast remarkable consistency unit to unit regarding equalization, peak frequency response, DC resistance, inductance and capacitance. Ambassadors are Carondelet’s value-minded solution for pros and enthusiasts alike (particularly modeler and profiler users); and for OEM/builder and repair/upgrade workshop applications.
