Slightly overwound and strategically mismatched coils are the "modern" and "5" is the inherently EQ-scooped Alnico alloy inside. The result is a peppery PAF-inspired "vintage plus" voiced humbucker duet. Is simply a great one-size-fits-all in regard to musical genres and playing scenarios. HIGHLY recommended for Gibson players who want to bolster their guitars' tones and versatility while retaining their general character and vibe.
